Grounded in evidence-based harm reduction principles, we provide accessible, nonjudgmental services that support health, safety, and self-determination while connecting individuals to care and community resources.
We believe everyone deserves respect, accurate information, and tools to stay alive—regardless of where they are in their substance use or recovery journey.

Syringe Services Program (SSP)
Our Syringe Services Program is a cornerstone of our harm reduction efforts and is designed to protect individual and public health.
What the SSP Includes:
- Anonymous syringe exchange and disposal
Participants can safely exchange used syringes for sterile ones to reduce the transmission of HIV, Hepatitis C, and other infections.
- Sterile injection supplies
Multiple syringe sizes are available for injecting medications, substances, and hormones.
- Safer use supplies & education
Information and tools to reduce injection-related injuries and infections.
- Wound care support
Basic wound care supplies and education to help prevent serious infections.
Services We Offer
Safe Recovery Site Name provides the following harm reduction services:
- Anonymous syringe exchange and safe disposal
- Sterile syringes in various sizes (for medications, substances, and hormones)
- Naloxone/Narcan (overdose reversal medication)
- Naloxone training for individuals and community organizations
- Drug checking supplies, including:
- Fentanyl test strips
- Xylazine test strips
- Medetomidine test strips
- Wound care supplies and education
- Harm reduction and overdose prevention education
Naloxone Access in Minnesota
In Minnesota, naloxone is legal, widely available, and can be carried and used by anyone to reverse an opioid overdose. Safe Recovery Site Name distributes naloxone and provides training to ensure individuals and communities are prepared to respond to overdoses and save lives.
