Our Mission

The No Smoke Project exists to educate, advocate, and empower our community by increasing awareness about the impact of commercial tobacco and menthol products. Through partnerships with Saint Paul churches, community organizations, young adults, and Smoke-Free Generation Minnesota, we promote No Menthol Sundays, advocate for policies that protect public health, and serve as a trusted resource hub for individuals seeking information, support, or help on their journey toward healthier lives.

We believe everyone deserves access to honest information, compassionate support, and a community that stands beside them.

What We Do

Education & Awareness - We provide education about the health impacts of commercial tobacco and menthol products, helping individuals and families make informed decisions and understand how the tobacco industry targets communities through marketing and pricing strategies.

No Menthol Sundays- We partner with churches and faith communities throughout Saint Paul to host No Menthol Sundays, creating opportunities for conversation, reflection, awareness, and action.

Advocacy for Change -We advocate for policies that reduce the harm caused by commercial tobacco products. This includes raising awareness about pricing practices, supporting efforts that protect youth and vulnerable populations, and encouraging community voices to participate in creating healthier public policies.

Resources & Support - We serve as a resource hub for young adults and anyone struggling with nicotine addiction, connecting people to trusted information, quit resources, cessation services, and local support systems.

Youth Leadership - We empower young adults ages 18–26 to become advocates, storytellers, and leaders who inspire positive change in their communities.

Community Partnerships -Working alongside local organizations and our partners at Smoke-Free Generation Minnesota, we strengthen community efforts to prevent tobacco-related harm and expand access to education and support throughout Saint Paul.

Our Vision

We envision a Saint Paul where every person has the knowledge, support, and opportunity to live a healthier life where churches, community organizations, young people, and statewide partners work together to prevent tobacco-related harm and build stronger futures.

Partnership

The No Smoke Project is proud to partner with Smoke-Free Generation Minnesota to advance education, advocacy, and community-driven solutions that support healthier lives and tobacco-free futures across Saint Paul.
